MEET THE CHOIR

We are a community choir and have been around for some time now, becoming the Hilltops Choir in recognition of our regional make-up, having changed our name some time ago to acknowledge that we have members from not just Young but also Cootamundra, Harden and surrounding villages. We will be performing at the Cherry Festival, at the Young Show, and the Harden Kite Festival. We hold concerts throughout the year and will be singing Christmas Carols in Carrington Park.

We are always looking for members and welcome anyone who wants to sing. No-one is expected to audition, and many of us have little or no musical training, including myself. We sing for the fun of it, and work towards performing on a regular basis. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional songs that are well within reach of everyone’s ability.

Don't miss our Artist Talk event: Stewart Bruce is a regular accompanist for the Hilltops Choir and serves on the Board of Silo Sounds. Stewart will talk about his career & the Silo Sounds collective of accomplished musicians and music lovers residing in Harden.
