Nominate Exceptional Young Artists & Performers

A new documentary and arts collaboration is coming to the Hilltops — and we’re inviting your help to discover our region’s brightest young talent.

About the Project

As part of the 2026 Hilltops Off the Beaten Track Arts & Cultural Trail, we’re proud to launch a new initiative that celebrates the next generation of Hilltops creatives.

This collaborative arts project will follow the journeys of three exceptional young artists or performers (under 25) from our region — captured on film by emerging local filmmakers under the guidance of Kev Greaves of Reload Productions, now based in Young.

The goal: to spotlight creative passion, personal stories, and the spark that drives young artistic talent — across visual arts, music, performance, theatre, or dance.

Who We’re Looking For

• Young people under 25 who live or study in the Hilltops region
• Emerging artists or performers with a strong commitment to their craft
• Creative individuals willing to share their story on camera

What’s Involved

Selected nominees will:

• Be featured in a short documentary to premiere at the 2026 Opening Night
• Participate in filmed interviews about their creative journey
• Collaborate with peers and young filmmakers

Even if not selected for the film, nominees may still be invited to:

• Exhibit their work at the Youth Art Exhibition in Studio 1
• Perform live at the Southern Cross Cinema front-of-house
• Attend the Opening Night Screening

• The nominee’s artistic achievements and passion
• Why their story deserves to be told
