On two weekends of the Hilltops Off The Beaten Track Arts & Cultural Trail, a local market will be held in each of Young and Boorowa town, making it easy to plan your creative track across the region.
Start your day wandering the market, soaking up the community atmosphere, browsing handmade goods and local produce, then head out to explore nearby galleries, exhibitions, open studios and creative spaces as part of the Art Trail.
The markets add a relaxed, social rhythm to your trail experience. They give you time to slow down, discover local stories, meet the people behind the work, and enjoy the character of each town and its surrounding villages.

Across the Hilltops, you’ll find a collection of vineyards producing some of NSW’s most exceptional cool-climate drops. Think deep, complex spicy Shiraz; vibrant, fruit-forward Cabernet; refined Nebbiolo; and elegant Chardonnay — all shaped by the rolling hills elevation, warm days and cool nights.
Many producers open their cellar doors for tastings, grazing boards and conversations with the people who grew the grapes and crafted the wine. Old Court House, Harden Murrumburrah
Various activities are being held in the Old Court House, Harden Murrumburrah which is home to Harden Arts Council and Harden Murrumburrah Canberra Club.
Light Horse Memorial
The Light Horse Memorial commemorates the birthplace of the First Australian Light Horse at Murrumburrah in 1897.
Housed in the magnificent 1912 School of Arts building, this Museum has an impressive collection of local Hilltops history from gold mining, agriculture, railways, the Australian Light Horse regiment and domestic life.
Murrimboola Creek Precinct
A beautiful cascading waterfall and the open amphitheatre are structurally stunning, and coupled with the modern and attractive children’s playground.

Bill the Bastard
