Exhibiting Artist - Kathleen McCue
Kathleen McCue is an artist based in Grenfell, NSW, specialising in welded steel sculptures. She began her artistic journey in the early 1990s after completing a part-time Visual Arts course at Werrington TAFE in Sydney. Kathleen's interest in recycled materials grew from her desire to preserve historical value, particularly in a region like Grenfell with a rich farming history. She repurposes decorative machinery pieces into unique sculptures, highlighting their artistic and historical significance
Her work has been featured in various exhibitions, including the Merriwa Festival of the Fleeces Art Show, Kalari Wines, Grenfell Art Gallery, and the Lockhart "Spirit of the Land" competition. Kathleen also opens her garden by appointment, allowing visitors to experience her sculptures in a natural setting
If you'd like to know more or join in art classes, follow Kathleen and Patina Gallery on Facebook. Patina Gallery, located on Gooloogong Road in Grenfell and is open by appointment.

Beyond weddings, Glencara has become a hub of activity, with Jane hosting regular coach tours and group visits, sharing the property's rich history and her own passion for the land.
