2025 Hilltops Off the Beaten Track Art and Cultural Trail 

An Evening Exhibition at Clifton House and Gardens

To celebrate the 2025 Arts Trail, international artist and new resident to the Hilltops, Anneluise Sugar (Friedel Klarenberg) will be exhibiting a range of medium artworks at Clifton House and Gardens. Joining her exhibition is her brother and accomplished painter Eric Sugar.

Guests are invited to enjoy the evening exhibition and take in the beautiful grounds of Clifton House and Gardens over a glass of wine and canapes.

Clifton House and Gardens is a historic farming property located in the Maimuru precinct of the Hilltops Region. Featuring a magnificent granite and sandstone homestead and separate barn both constructed in the 1890's, the buildings are nestled amongst 10 hectares of manicured lawns and gardens creating a lush and private oasis for guests to enjoy.

Operating as a luxury farmstay destination the homestead from its deep verandahs commands stunning vistas across the Hilltops while the barn has been converted into a Function Centre/Venue ideal for private dining, wedding receptions, corporate and private events. The barn features a fully licensed small bar serving local Hilltops wines and beverages and delicious seasonal dishes from the kitchen.
